Zaki Shaikh is the founder of Parthenon Architects. Started in 2003, Parthenon Architects, whose passion is to creatively design everyday spaces for its customers, today has over 40+ people working on commercial, corporate and residential interiors, hospitality and retail design, project management as well as lighting and furniture design; with a capital of INR 20,000 and grew it to a company that does projects worth 40 crores per year. After graduating with an architectural degree at Raheja College of Architecture, Zaki started his career at one of India's leading design firms, Talati & Panthaky. After a few years Zaki decided to start his own venture and Parthenon Architects was founded which specializes in architecture, sustainable planning and interior design.
In his capacity as an architect, interior designer and entrepreneur, Zaki's creativity and meticulous organizational ability has been invaluable in the management of a wide variety of projects, ranging from comprehensive architectural services and development proposals to master and corporate planning, environmental impact statements and detailed facilities programming for corporate, residential and government institutions.
Parthenon Architects under Zaki’s leadership has undertaken many projects across the country including the Hyderabad Airport, The Imperial Hotel (Delhi), Mont Blanc showrooms across India, corporate headquarters of IDFC and numerous offices for other leading firms including Edelweiss, Birla Sun Life and WNS. In the residential segment, Parthenon Architects have designed homes across Mumbai, Delhi and Raipur.
Zaki is a philanthropic at heart who believes in giving back to the society. As a practice, ten percent of the annual earnings of Parthenon Architects are donated to various charities and social causes. He is highly involved and works closely with Samaritan Help Mission which provides education to slum children especially underprivileged girls. Zaki‘s hobbies include golf, scuba & deep sea diving in exotic locations and excavating for which he is licensed by Nevada. Zaki is married to Sima Kadwani, who works closely with him at Parthenon Architects Pvt. Ltd.
